In order to get personally in touch with the highest levels of leadership at a company, there are a few specific steps you can take to maximize your chances of success. It’s important to take the entire team into consideration rather than focusing narrowly on just one specific position. Some executive positions might be more easily reached than others. Once you’ve selected a target executive, it will be time to begin researching their background to learn everything you possibly can and to identify potential openings through which you could access them or entice them into conversation. Finally, you’ll need to spend time developing a hook to use in your cold email and then creating your first email draft.
